Leaving out our front door, within a 15 minute walk we can be on the hiking paths that go up the mountain to 'the peak'. I hadn't ventured to try these trails on my own so far, thinking they might be difficult or hard to follow, however, it would seem that the masses have done a lovely job paving wide and obvious routes. The only thing that made the 'hike' (more aptly named 'steep walk', since it was all on pavement) difficult was the heat and humidity. For our excessive sweating we were rewarded with amazing views. A lovely little Sunday.
